One person a day will build your residual income The Law of Averages just plain makes sense in building a home based business. Do you want to understand the road to your future? Don’t we all kind of need a clear vision of what could be? Isn’t it human nature? Everyone here in our home based business team wants/needs a secure road to run on and confidence that they can achieve their goals. It only makes sense! Let me try to share what can be to building a successful home based business. First, understand that those of you that comprehend this are kind of like pioneers, you will lead others by blazing a trail with our home based business team. That takes more courage than average to building a successful residual income. During the past 7 plus years, many businesses have been built online. Massive e-mail campaigns, auto-responders etc. We have all seen the hype etc. Those days are crashing and burning all around us. This is not what I am talking about. Imagine a meeting being held in your town with 10,000 success minded, many in network marketing, people and everyone are coming with a billboard on their back that shows their bio. Would you like to attend and meet people at that meeting? If not, hello. Now imagine the meeting has 100,000 plus, because that’s coming!! That’s exactly what you have at sites like the My Space and Facebook. Now, for whatever reasons, most people are still not accomplishing their objectives in our industry in terms of building a long term residual income with their home based business. One of the major reasons is a lack of communication and proper training. I have already seen many people here at places like My Space change companies etc. Why not? If they don’t see some success for their efforts, why wouldn’t they continue banging their head against the wall to try and build their freedom residual income? Distributors no longer have to mail newsletters and phone people everyday to ensure contact and information flow. Also, one doesn’t have to tour like a rock star to do trainings. In 1997, my good friend Cameron Howard spent 50K touring. Think about it. So how does this affect you and help you make a residual income online? Well anyone reading this is connected and plugged in. (Communication and training). You are among millions at my space and among many more millions on the internet. Most success minded people are online today, most Network Marketers too if they want to build a successful home based business. If we focus on getting on the phone with 1 quality person everyday, like Cameron and I do on a weekly basis for 50 weeks a year, we will have well over 250 new friends with a success mindset, most of whom already believe in Network marketing and want to develop a long term residual income. Ponder that for a moment. Think about the significance of 250 new friends that know and respect you. For example, my friend Cameron spoke to Kathy. She is very busy with several wonderful projects in her home based business. Kathy was “burned out” of network marketing, swearing never again - sound familiar? However, as she uses essential oils with her clients she recently joined Young Living so she could purchase quality oils for less. If Kathy was going to build a home based business it would be with YL. Now, hypothetically here, if for some reason YL didn’t live up to what Kathy was looking for or something changed in the company, doesn’t it stand to reason that Kathy would at least examine our company and home based business team. Of course she would! I’m not saying it would be the right one for her or that she would join us based upon one conversation, I’m only saying that we would be one that she would look at. Now multiply that scenario by 250. Then add another 250 as a solid residual income takes time. 500 people that I have spoken with over the phone, have seen my bio and read a few of my articles. Of those 500 people, how many will be looking to be more successful and willing to look at another opportunity? By focusing on meeting one person a day and adding value for 24 months I would have to be pretty poor at what I do to only personally recruit 25. Anybody who personally recruits 25 into our program and plugs them into our support system and team calls etc will earn a wonderful income, enough to work from home on. Anybody can build their own home based business this way, from any company. Talk to 1 quality person each day. Build your list of real friends, add value in every conversation by BEing a friend. BE a blessing and BE blessed. Every morning when you wake up, get excited about BEing a friend to at least 1 person. Pick people with whom you feel you have something in common. Wow, that sounds like the same old methods of MLM. Are there better alternatives to the all the stress of building a home based business? Home Based Business 33 How to choose a home based business from the hundreds and more that are available? There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a home based business for yourself. These factors include: 1. Are the operators of the business honest and ethical? This is important and can be difficult to determine but the past so often determines the future. Try to check to see if they have been involved with any other home based business previous, that suggests their honesty and ethical behaviour may be in doubt. You can Google their name plus the home based business name, check such sites as scam.com, read as much about the person or persons as you can to get a feel for them. 2. You must be able to contact the operators by phone or Skype. Email is subject to abuse so not as important a means of communication as voice. Honest operators are happy to talk to you, if you yourself are genuine about getting involved with their business as a home based business independent business owner. 3. Is the business product real and not just software that says it can do more than anything else that has been developed for the home based business industry. 4. Does the home based business opportunity promise thousands and thousands for little or no work. They will build your down line etc etc. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Avoid these type of offers. 5. How long has the home based business opportunity been in existence? Is it a start up, ground floor, get in first, the next Google? Most companies fail in the first five years. Look for a business that has more than five years minimum. If it is a start up get rich quick ground floor operation then give it a big fat miss. Save your money for something more stable, more depth and a greater probability for you to become successful. Look for its good business a slow get rich home based business that may in fact take you more than two or three years to achieve. 30, 60, or 90 days and you will be rich, pull the other leg! 6. Look for a home based business that can be easily duplicable. MLM businesses preach duplication but the reality is duplication is not possible with a MLM business, because no one can do what you will do. MLM businesses teach all new distributors to buy leads to build their home based business. Buying leads has a 97% fail rate. Not a good business option when choosing a business to join. Those are just six factors to consider when looking to choose a good home based business to promote. There are other factors to think about. Common sense applied will nearly always save you money. Think before you leap. Home Based Business - Built on Solid Ground There are so many ways doubt and fear can creep in and steal our dream and confidence in developing a successful home based business. When we read about someone else’s meteoric rise to the top levels in a company in 7 days or whatever, it can make us wonder why not us. May I suggest something to building a successful home based business? Why should we care? We don’t know how much personal growth those folks went through before they started their home based business. We have no idea of how everything fell in place for them in building their residual income. Instead of making us feel less confidence, wouldn’t it be empowering to for us to BE encouraged to believe that perhaps the next meteor might be our personal enrollee? The concept is about building on solid ground to have a success home based business. Build it right one time to have a long term residual income. We believe in respecting others and friends helping friends. We leave our egos at the door of the Home Based Business Team when we come in. Everyone is always a leader-in-training as true leadership is always about growing every day anyhow. Everyone has their unique gifts that add to the team, all for one and one for all. Our home based business team will not be attractive to everybody; it wasn’t designed to be. It will be attractive to the right people wanting a long term and successful home based business. That’s our job in a way, to share with people in a way that helps them get a clear picture of who we are and what we do in terms of helping that other person develop a residual income. Like Frank says: “Just share the truth because the truth is good enough.” This way we will attract the right people and quality people are the solid ground we need. It really comes down to building a base of contacts filled with nice people that are all at various stages of looking at what we have and gaining respect for who we are by the way we treat them. Since anybody with the “Right Stuff” can succeed in a home based business, it’s not about the speed of which we build it. Would you want to purchase a home made of poor quality material thrown up very quickly or would you prefer one built with quality material on a solid foundation and built properly in having a successful residual income? Even if it took a whole year to develop that contact base properly before one person even enrolled, would it be worth it? In the coming year my intentions are to totally revamp and upgrade my contact base and share my story with some great people. Things take time to be done right in having a long term sustainable home based business. Make it a great day!
